Public Involvement and Upcoming Draft EIS Release
Public involvement is an integral part of the Environmental Impact Analysis Process. The public has an important role in providing input during this process to help the NGB make more informed decisions about implementing this proposal. The NGB and DAF held a public scoping period in 2024 and reviewed all public comments received. The NGB, DAF, and Federal Aviation Administration will be publishing the Draft EIS in winter 2026. Future announcements will be made when the Draft EIS is published, and the public review and comment period opens. More information on the public involvement process is available on the Get Involved page.
